shift

for a friend of mine

and life changes in an instant
in a fleeting moment
you just might find out
who you can trust
and who you cant
who your real friends are
and who they arent
and whether you will ever
be the same
again.

Oh that's so true and your words are weaved together as nicely as the hands of the maker of a scarf. I hope your friend has been warmed up by your words.

Aye, and sometimes you wish you never found out at all.

OMG! you don't know how much of a pleasure it is to read these words because this is what i'm going through right now...a "shift". (poetic snap) you're speaking the truth.

I think there comes a time when we find out who are the fair-weather friends and who are the real ones. True words, enjoyed reading, thanks :)
